It can be hard to eat salad in the winter time. I like to add cooked, roasted veggies to mine. Try using warming spices in your dressings.

  • 3 tablespoons avocado or olive oil
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of freshly grated ginger
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • Whisk the ingredients together and store in a dark bottle in the refrigerator. Great as a light dressing over lettuce, grains, vegetables, etc.
