• 4-6 apples, cored (but leave the very bottom intact so the filling doesn’t fall out)
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 10 Tbsp “filling” – nuts, seeds, raisins, nut butter, cinnamon
  • 1 cup water
  1. Pour water into the bottom of the 8×8 baking dish.
  2. Place apples in the dish standing up.
  3. Fill the core with about 2 TBSP of filling (amount will depend on the size of the apple).
  4. Drizzle maple syrup over the apples.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes, under the apples are tender but not mushy.
  6. Serve topped with the liquids from the pan!
  7. Serve warm or cold.
